- Education - 60 %
- Civic & Community - 27 %
- Arts & Culture - 13 %
|
Overview: The company has two giving programs, the Foundation and the Corporate Contributions Program. Both are operated by the same people, at the same address, and technically with the same interests. However, the Foundation is much larger and has a much broader range of interests. The Corporate Contributions Program seems to be used for more business-alligned interests.
Another division of AT&T handles the marketing and sponsorship programs. However, the company recommends approaching the foundation or corporate giving program first.
- Arts & Culture: The AT&T Foundation works to enhance the cultural assets and institutions that give the places we live and work their distinct character.
- Civic & Community Service: The AT&T Foundation supports initiatives that advance the economic development of a community and its citizens through increased technology access and expanded local opportunities
The AT&T Foundation empowers community-based organizations by providing vital resources to meet the immediate and long-term needs directly in their neighborhoods.
- Diversity: The AT&T Foundation promotes efforts to cultivate diversity and inclusion in the community through initiatives that focus on advancing opportunities for diverse populations.
- Education: The AT&T Foundation invests in educational programs that are enhanced by technology and that teach the necessary skills in order to succeed in an ever-expanding global economy.
- Education, Continuing Education:
- Education, Drop-Out Prevention: The primary focus was project support to existing high school retention programs with a successful track record of achieving effective results ($50,000-$100,000 per year for up to four years). There was also a secondary focus on planning/capacity-building support for communities that are serious about enacting remediation, but need additional planning time and resources ($25,000-$35,000 for one year).
- Education, Higher Education:
- Education, K-12:
- Employment, Job Training: AT&T Aspire, a $100 million high school success and workforce readiness initiative. AT&T Aspire is the company's largest philanthropic commitment ever — and one of the largest-ever corporate commitments to address high school success and workforce readiness.
