New nonprofit establishes basic fundraising infrastructure, raises $900K
Challenge
An immigrant-focused, multi-service organization came to Access Philanthropy without any fundraising infrastructure. They had no system for prospecting, identifying, approaching or requesting money from local funders. They needed help building a fundraising program from the ground up.
Methods
Access Philanthropy began with basic prospecting, relationship building and a fundraising planning strategy for the client. We then implemented the strategy while establishing an internal fundraising infrastructure.
Results
The client, with our help, established an effective fundraising staff and strategy. The organization is now a United Way agency, raising more than $900,000 per year from private institutional funders.
